Music of Khanqah
Music of the monastery;
At any moment,
the sound of the music of the universe will give a message from the God,
and wherever an ear is that can hear the sound,
it falls in love with that sound.
Monastery music is a drop of the source of universe's sound.
Tambour is one of the oldest mystical Iranian instruments. The age of this instrument is unknown.
In the “Definite Argument”[1] about Def, it is said that “Def means a circle on which the skin adheres and the loquacious play”.
There are different types of Ney in the world including flute, double drum, Gharaney, seven-strap Ney, etc. Seven-strap Ney will be discussed in the following.
The instrument is used in Asia more than anywhere else in the world, and every country uses it which is suitable to its musical mood such as;

The Tambour is a long pear-shaped kegler instrument which is usually made of mulberry wood.
