A virtuous boy was born from a religious mother in the land of Salman Farsi in 1871 AD (1288 AH). He was called Ali Muhammad.

At the age of 20, Haj Motahar became acquainted with Haj Bahar Alishah who was the head of Khaksar Ghulam Alishahi dynasty.

Following this acquaintance, Haj Mutahar traveled to Kufa again for a visit with Haj Bahar Alishah where he obtained “Kesvat level[1]. By the order of Haji Bahar Alishah, he went to Kashmar to stay for three years. Then, he went to the eighth Imam's pilgrimage and he experienced austerity in Mashhad and after that, he went to Ouch Maltan. He passed through the Herat, Kabul, and Kandahar. Finally, he arrived the source of Khaksar. Haji Motahar returned to Kufa to Haj Bahar Alishah after meeting with Sadat Jalali and the pilgrimage of Sultan Jalaluddin Haider.

After meeting with Haj Bahar, he performed the obligatory Hajj. It means that he spent a lot of time to self-cultivation, and knowing world and the God. Then, he performed obedience in Kufa, Najaf, and Karbala. At the same time, Haj Bahar left the garden in the hands of the new gardener[2]. At the time, when Haj Motahar devote himself as an elder guider, he was able to bring about a profound change in the system of poverty and travel with different and new ideas. The most important changes were building monastery in big cities, unifying the branches of Khaksar, explaining Khaksar path to whom had the flag Khaksar for their way, clearing out old traditions that were no longer in use in society, and vehemently opposing the imaginative ideas that demons and giants of the Safavi government had imposed on Khaksar, etc.

The first monastery of Haj Motahar was established in the Hajebiyah cemetery over the grave of Haj Ghatar Alishah at Shemiran Gate in Tehran during the Pahlavi era.

Kheir al-Haj Haj Motahar Alishah Shirazi died in Lahijan, Gilan, near the grave of Sheikh Zahid Gilani on a beautiful and spiritual mountain in 1982 AD (1361 AH or 1402 LC).
